Here's a car I had assumed was around but had never seen. These cars really energize a layout as they create moving shadows. The Greenberg's Guide to Marx trains indicates both electric and dummy versions of the 6" eight wheel black frame searchlight cars (electric shown). I have an olive drab dummy but have never seen the civilian dummy. Are they around? Is this another mistake in the Greenberg's Guide? If you have one, let me know.
While we're on the subject, it makes sense that a lighted military version of this car could be extant. Anyone have one? Please let me know.

You can see the steel male coupler indicating that this is a late eight wheel car. Usually the male coupler post is diecast.
