This beautiful version of the Marx Speedway is one of the prettiest roadways around. It would have been awesome if Marx had been able to make a street
layout system using this litho track. This was also sold as an electric speedway with larger motorized cars and one set had both a car and train.

Here are four versions of the several cars used on the speedway. I believe there are as many as twelve different numbered cars. These were made for many
years even after WWII. Later cars have plastic wheels.
I purchased this British Marx clockwork station wagon at the Valencia Ballroom at York several years ago. It was the first piece of British Marx I had ever seen at the time.
