Here we have a Joy Line cast iron clockwork passenger set. The cast iron engine utilized a motor wound with a square shaft slip-over key that looks much like an old skate key.
The passenger cars in this set are devoid of the gilt window treatment and details, simple black details on green base.




The set was sold in a box with corrugated box bottom but cardstock picture top. And what a pretty picture it is!
