This Mineral State Coal Mine side dump car is the grand daddy of all Marx side dump cars. Built on the design of the side dump truck from the Girard truck train and the Joy Line Contractor Dump Car, it is a heavier gauge steel and hand painted. The 1937 round end frame indicates that it was produced early in the six inch production era.
