This Prototype Fire Truck recently turned up in an antique store in San Antonio, Texas. It is
dated 1937 which is about the time you would expect. This was probably proposed as a vehicle
for the General Fire Alarm Station shown elsewhere in this site. The modified cab seems to be
regular production with minor alterations. The rear deck is made from one piece of sheet
metal, including the tank. The hand painting is done in the style of other prototypes I
have seen.
