This little plastic dog from the late forties to early fifties is almost as cute as the box
he was packaged in.
Box reads;
He Barks, He Sits up, He Jumps. He barks is struck out!
Plastic is like new. Bright color with no sun fading or scratching. This dog has spent the
last 50 years in his dog house box! The plastic airbulb that animates him is still soft and pliable
but the air does not return quickly from the diaphram which prevents him from operating correctly. He will sit up
although I doubt that he ever would jump! The box is complete but has seen better days. There is some surface
damage and some tearing. Roof was glued back on some time ago but is well done and does not show from the
exterior. This is a great piece of early plastic from a company that has long been gone. O'Briens
edition No.9 contains no listing for Palmer Plastics and I have seen other plastic toy
guides that do not mention this company.
This has to be rare!
