NOTE--------------Historically important set demonstrates through enclosed papers that red litho frames were in stores by late 1937, not 1938 as previously believed. Paperwork includes a Montgomery Ward's hold tag (from Kittanning, PA) with date and set number, original sales receipt, and packing slip.

CONDITION-----EXCELLENT. Engine shows minor playwear but everything in the set is clean and glossy. Box is faded and beginning to separate but still complete. Also included but not shown is track and lock-on with original wire. No Instruction sheet. A really beautiful set.
