  • NOTES---------Rarest of the Military sets. The most common piece in this set is the Army Supply Train wedge tender and that is certainly not a common piece. Dummy searchlight, A-A Gun and Radio car with sliding tab and slot couplers cannot be faked. Very rare set and a gem in any Marx collection.
  • CONDITION-----Set grades between VERY GOOD and EXCELLENT. Train shows light playwear. Flag and pole are there with the original staples. Five of the seven tin soldiers and three of the four original artillary shells (I don't believe the gold one is correct). Track shows light oxidation. The odd piece of steel was in the box. I don't believe it's original with the set but I'm keeping the contents together as found. All-in-all this is one nice set. Very hard to assemble or find complete. The box is all there even though it has seen better days. Don't hesitate to add this to your collection today.
