Could this be the largest Marx tin set? I think so. Engine, tender, and seventeen cars! One would think the train would simply pull itself off the track. The set came with the very rare dummy switch tower and the camo tunnel.

The CP set inside the oval is not part of the set but the CP engine is a prototype.

This is the kind of things you get to see at the Marx Show and Tell meeting at York. We all owe a debt of gratitude to John Fox and Tasker Brush for organizing that show. Without it only a few people would get to see many of the great pieces I have shown in this site.
